When we quit growing, we quit living.

Whether our focus is on making small changes, learning a new skill, doing more little things for people in our lives, or simply working toward becoming the people we really want to be, making consistent progress matters.

In the past, I think that I’ve focused my efforts on making big but targeted changes. I’ve written personal blogs about life transitions and even focusing on recovering from an illness. Lately, though, those blogs feel too constricted – like trying to fit through a doorway that’s too narrow – or confining, like sitting in a closet in the dark afraid of what might be out there waiting.

This blog is a place where I hope to document the small changes, hold myself accountable, and invite in others who are on their own journeys. Because, after all, the greatest successes – just like the lowest lows – are made greater by sharing them.
